Daniel and his wife, Stacie, have two children, Elizabeth and Samuel. Daniel and Stacie first met as kids in the children’s ministry of their home church. Both are graduates of Northside High School and Virginia Tech. Daniel surrendered to the call to ministry in 2005 and studied and worked at Southeastern Seminary from 2005–2015.

In describing his call to serve as the next pastor for North Roanoke Baptist Church, he writes, “God is winning the nations as He always has – through a humble, broken, and needy people who ‘deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow Jesus’ (Luke 9:23). My earnest desire is that we would:
  • Declare the gospel with our lips and our lives in homes, families, workplaces, and communities;
  • Enjoy a Spirit-given oneness flowing from a Christ-honoring commitment to biblical faithfulness;
  • Walk in humble holiness, serving one another and joyously worshiping in Spirit and truth;
  • Give generously for the advance of the gospel through the local church;
  • Plant new churches and send out missionaries;
  • Raise up generations of students eager to leverage their vocation for the sake of Christ;
  • Joyfully spend our lives for Christ and the people He died to save, and
  • Smile and rejoice as God exceeds our greatest expectations for His work in the Roanoke Valley.
Education:
  • BA in History and Political Science – Virginia Tech
  • Master of Public Administration and Policy – Virginia Tech
  • Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages – Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary
