At North Roanoke, we know that God's desire is for Christians to live and grow together in the gospel. There are a number of opportunities for adults to spend time together in the Scriptures and in prayer as we support one another on the way to beholding King Jesus face-to-face (see 1 Cor 13:12).
bible studiesSunday 3D Groups (Sunday School) | On Sunday mornings at 9:15AM, adult Bible studies are available for every age and life stage at this time. 3D groups provide opportunities to build relationships, learn God’s Word, and minister to one another as we are dedicated to one another, devoted to God's Word, and driven to reach others all for the glory of King Jesus.
Wednesday | 6:30PM On Wednesday evenings in the fall and spring semesters (no Wednesday activities in the summer or December), we offer a great time Bible learning for kids, fun, fellowship, and training in God’s Word for youth, and a variety of classes for adults including women's bible studies, a sermon discussion and application class, Financial Peace University, and more. The fall semester begins in mid-August and continues into late November. Our winter/spring semester begins in early January and concludes in late May. |
Home groupsIn 2019, North Roanoke launched home-based, small groups that meet for Bible study, prayer, and encouragement. COVID quickly interrupted those plans. However, we plan to launch groups throughout the Roanoke Valley as leaders are identified and trained. Currently, one group (Fellowship of the King) has resumed meeting on Thursday nights at 6:30. Please call the church office (540.563.5113) for meeting address or other information.

WOMen's ministryThis ministry exists to help women cultivate Christ-centered living in every aspect of their lives. We strive to be rooted in God's Word and to encourage fellow believers in the knowledge and grace of God. We seek to serve one another and expand our outreach beyond the walls of the church building for the glory of Christ our King.
"Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude" (Colossians 2:6–7). |
